Selfish Boehner

    The blog in New York Times, "John Boehner's Shutdown," written by the Editorial Board
 tells us about how he pushed the country into a government shutdown that will now begin to take a grievous economic toll just because he didn't agree with the passing of the Obamacare. I understand that its his own opinion to disagree with it, but just because he disagree with it doesn't mean he can put the government on shutdown.

       The author is credible because a lot of people are being laid off their jobs because John Boehner wants to shut down the government. Also other things are going downhill as well.  I understand Obama is a Democratic, and Republicans hate democratics, but doesn't mean they can take it out the Citizens of the U.S.  I agree with the article when it says the republican party is ruining their own reputation, their image as a party is not getting any better, especially now with Boehner's decision for government shutdown to delay the health reform, not only is it childish, but also with the awareness of how badly this will damage their party. Due to John Boehner's failure, he put out over 800 thousand government employees out of a job and that's a lot. Boehner thinks he can point figures and make up excuses by blaming Obama. Boehner needs to grow up and stop thinking for himself and think about what he's doing the country.

"Conflict over Cooperation"

     In Fox News, this article written by Michael Goodwin, he talks about Obama being the worst president ever, and how Obama "always chooses conflict over cooperation."Goodwin also thinks that Obama is "without scruples and honor." With Goodwin's statement, I agree with most of it, but theres one part I disagree with. First off Obama is sort of worst president. Especially on how he handled the Syria incident. He also serves this country with honor and Goodwin is totally wrong about which is why I disagree with him. Now I agree with the part where Obama chooses conflict over cooperation. Like the government is shut down right now, and all he's worrying is about the conflict like there are people who are not getting paid because of it, but he's not cooperating with that or telling us anything. Barack Obama is making it difficult for the people especially visitors from foreign places. Places are closed due to the shutdown, and people are trying exploring the states in U.S.A. I don't think Obama is trying very hard to change the status of the government. Ever since Obama became president, he only achieved a small percentage of things he said he would do and he's been president for almost 5 years now. Obama needs to listen to congress and stop refusing to do what's right for this country.
